I think you're taking us not liking the movie personally. We don't like the movie, we totally dig you.
"Alright guys, last two deathstars we made got blown up and failed spectacularly causing a massive loss of life and funds... ideas?"
"Make a really big one?" "You sir have just earned yourself a promotion. Lets do this. Oh and someone make sure to put a blood descendant of the last guys who fucked us onboard. Tradition, you know?"
"That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die."

Yeah, but this one has trees on it. Rebel scums wouldn't blow it up if it had trees on it.

But in terms of maturity he's played as a moody teenager I think. After all, look at Donald Trump. He's an old man now but at the same time a spoilt child. RE: Episode VII (spoilers)

The dream sequence seems to suggest Rey was abandoned on jakku as a young child in the aftermath of ren turning against Luke and leading first order troops to slaughter Luke's other apprentices. So the back story probably involve a good number years between them.
Unless E8 throws a curve ball and reveal Rey is not related to the skywalker clan after all, which would not be a bad idea, then the entire Star Wars series is just one long soap opera about the most persistently fucked up family ever to appear in any children's fantasy. RE: Episode VII (spoilers)

What you think about me is irrelevant to my life. I get irritated at terrible movie/book critiques. If you're going to hate/dislike something, at least do it for good reasons and don't justify them with shitty ones. Try and remember I spent several pages not arguing with him. As someone pointed out, instead of just writing the movie and the thread off, both he and Aractus spent several posts complaining. So who's taking what personally? No one. This is a discussion forum. You don't want your opinion discussed? Don't drop it here. Not to point out the obvious but look at the grace and elegant use of the lightsaber fights between obi and vader in E3 verse, anyone in this movie. They are all hacks! kylo has one or two levels of expertise above the either finn or rey. Rey has one lunge/stabbing move she tries 3 different times, which could easily be exploited by a trained swordsman. it obvious kylo is no vader with a light saber. His 'strength' is obviously the use of the force. I did not say he was inept. I am pointing out the obvious fact that kylo does not fight as well as vader/anikin did in E3. If E3 and Vader's battle with kenobi was a 10 kylo is fighting on level 4 at his best. If you have ever practiced any martial art you know it take continual practice and dicipline. If you are going to master it you need a worthy sparing partner on your level or better. So again who does kylo have? Remember good against 'remotes is one thing, good against the living...' |
