Very interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Good grief, what ridiculous word-salad woo. Yep, Scooby and Little Rik need to team up. Scoob, first you have to prove to us that god exists. Using scientific method. Or better yet, have him show up and say "hi". The creator of the universe shouldn't need a word-salad-smith to explain who and what he is. When you prove it, we can go to point number 2, prove humans have a soul. Then there is point number 3, prove there is an afterlife. I don't believe in any of the three, but provide quantifiable, and testable evidence and then I'll listen.

I don't think he's trying to prove anything. I think he's just wanting to discuss the issue and share his thoughts.

He's VERY VERY intent on sharing his thoughts, and teaching all of us "who homo-sapiens are" and what gawds plan is for all of us. He's on an atheist forum spreading this crap. He's preaching.

Hmm, I guess I'll let him speak for himself on his motivations.

I was being serious. I enjoyed his post. I think we are more connected to our bodies than he described, but I do agree with some of the stuff he said. Particularly about love. Whether you agree with him or not, it's still an interesting perspective and what he said about love is a beautiful message nonetheless.

I mean they always try to add layers onto atheism in an attempt to make it more than it is. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" |
