Got absolutely nothing in common. Unless ISIS takes over. Then in might be similar to Pol Pot's regime. He was after the intellectuals after all. Wearing glasses already could get you killed, since you obviously were a reader. If you want to draw some comparison, although every conflict has it's own motivations, it would be the Lebenase civil war between 1975 and 1990. Many factions involved and being at each others throats.
