You said that that quote was one of the worst things any human being can say. Not 'Kill all the Jews' or 'Nuke 'em till they glow' or something like that. I mean off the top of my head I can think of 1000 worse things human beings do say all the time. So it's fine to disagree with someone's politics, but why does it always have to be taken to such an extreme with you guys? It's not one of the worst things a human being can say, not even close. One of the worst out of what? 100,000. It's totally silly. Saudi Arabia crucifies people who politically disagree with them, but this is one of the worst things a human being has said. I mean, it's just not. I don't agree with scalia at all on that, but don't be ridiculous.

I didn't say it wasn't bad. I said it wasn't one of the worst things a person can say, duh. You guys need to realize that not everything has to be stated in the most extreme way possible to make a point. The worst??? I mean really. I reserve the word worst for things that are......you know, the worst. Just to keep to the topic of the death penalty: That quote, for which we have no context what so ever, pales in comparison to Saudi's justifying the execution of political dissidents, or Islamic extremists thinking execution is okay for apostates or adulturers. Even that is just on the death penality. I wouldn't say those are the 'worst things a human being can say' either.

I really just want to know what it's like to be inside your head for a couple of hours.
