I would define feminism simply as movement or support of the position about winning back women rights. We may all disagree on roles woman play, but I think for example, we can all agree we ought to strive for women rights, and the current state of the world and the past, has been unfair to women and has not given them their due.

Just like we all agree we ought to be good, but disagree on what constitutes goodness, including people within the same faith or religion, the same is true of feminism. There can be dialogue when we are going too far. But for example, the video you posted, I find mostly was spot on. The only thing I disagree due to my Islamic perspective, is that I think drinking intoxicating drinks over all is more harmful then it's benefit.

This video has some legitimate points.   Yet feminism from my perspective is about winning women rights, but doesn't oppose you from doing the same about children rights or animal rights, so the same is true of men rights.

The point I contend is she makes as if the status has not been and is not today, that women are generally mistreated over all by men. I think this is wrong. I think overall, this not the ideal treatment women ought get treated by men. Sure men have issues. Those issues in history have little to do with women oppressing men though or belittling their rights or devaluing them.

I wasn't proved wrong, if anything I was proved right. The answer to my question should've been a simple yes or no,instead you constructed a scheme that favors women more than men. That is not equality.

I'd also appreciate if you'd explain why you are in a movement that is for treating genders equally when you know men and women are different?

Are you serious? How the fuck does that favor women more than men? They can both choose to terminate responsibilities within the same allotted time frame.

I already told you I am a feminist because I believe in equal rights. I never ever said all people should be treated exactly the same.

If you're going to take a discussion personal and get upset over it it's better not to engage in this discussion with you, for your own good.

Feminism is nasty.

Sex should not cotton to moral codes; it lies deeper in the human makeup, and in that sense it helps define morality, rather than abide by it.

I don't think it's understandable for either partner to hit the other, but I think it's perfectly comprehensible for either partner to bring the other to glorious pleasure.

Of course, I don't have that objective-morality religious bushwa clouding my sensibilities, either.

Also, I'm very happy to slap a gal on the backside, especially while she's face-down in a pillow. Just sayin'.

Equal treatment doesn't mean "same" treatment, rather it implies a fair treatment. As I said before too, the term "equal" is problematic in this instance but when seen in context it's pretty clear. Women do need empowerment in most parts of the world, and speaking out isn't a bad thing. When women demand fair treatment it doesn't imply men don't deserve fair treatment, neither does someone asking for their own rights have a responsibility towards everyone else's rights. If you feel men need to demand fair treatment, feel free to speak out, but don't do it by insulting the opposite sex or downplaying their right to fair treatment.
