Dead Kennedys is nice and all, but have you ever considered Death Metal? Given your mood, I would recommend Fiction by Dark Tranquillity, and if that doesn't cheer you up, Melana Chasmata by Triptykon.

Oh I'm not too into Dark Tranquility type stuff. I am generally into very heavy metal, I know my fair share. I tried to like trypticon, I ordered their first album when it first came out. I never got really into it though.

The second album is somewhat better, though I would call both excellent. The second one is more consistent, darker and less erratic. I got hooked because the first time I ever heard of them was when I saw them live, unexpectedly substituting for another band, around midnight. It left an impression.

I have been MIA lately. No particular reason, just dropping my media down a notch. My fb friends know I have been plenty present over there.
Just went with CD to the new digs. It's really cute and has so much potential.
