Went to the home improvement store and picked out some chips for accent colors. The walls are kind of a beige and I'm thinking taupe or burgundy for accent walls in the main living area.

go to Benjamin Moore and pick out colors there. You can ask them for large paint chips (8x8") to better see the color in your room and even get some small paint pots to try larger painted swatches on your walls - and then go buy the actual paint from Home Depot and have them color-match to Benjamin Moore so you don't have to pay BM prices

Just got back from the library. I'll be reading The God Delusion for the first time. I hope it isn't underwhelming. If so, I've also got The Greatest Show On Earth.

@CM I'm probably going to end up getting the paint from Miller. I've used it before, and it's a true one-coat paint. I only need a few gallons so the price isn't a big deal.

I'm not sure if Miller has the large paint chips but they also color match BM paints. All manufacturers color match their competitors so they don't lose business. My entire house is BM color mixed in Miller or Behr paint . The larger paint chips is what's great about BM, otherwise they're to expensive.
