The main reason I'm an atheist
RE: The main reason I'm an atheist
Who the fuck let Rik out of his cage?

"You need help sometimes, therefore a good must exist to help you."

That is pigeon logic, Rik. You're shitting up the chessboard again.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

Didn't i tell you that after you finish to be the clown of the village you should try your very best to

We do need help all the time from birth to death and after the physical death as well.  Diablo

No, Rik, I'm pretty sure you did not tell me that.

"All the time you need help, therefore there must be a god to help you."

Even if I granted the premise that we need help all the time just to exist (which I don't), that still wouldn't be evidence for the existence of an invisible helper.

Believe it or not, I actually make good money as a Wizard. I do occasionally do some street performance, but that's mostly just networking to get business cards in people's hands, and I've barely done any of that since my first year out. Now the bulk of my performances are paid appearances at libraries, schools, conventions, theaters, farmer's markets, private parties, street festivals...the list goes on. I'm still early in my magic career, but I've already gained a pretty decent range of experience with different venues and clients, both in my own city and in some other places in my state. This year I'm aiming to add a portable backdrop and a small sound system to my portable show set (which already includes various tables, props, and stands, most of which I constructed myself).

Yeah, the guy is way off his medications . . . (either that or ON a soup of really dangerous ones) if he thinks equating a human-built machine with an imaginary friend isn't one of the bigger non- sequiturs  ever posted here.

Yo, Rikki Sicky: Have your fantasy imaginary friend serve the same function as a plane or a ship, videotape it, and then maybe you'll be worth a moment of attention.  London to NY, flying.  Get on it.

But we know you can't, and you'll just keep shitting idiotic nonsense all over the carpets of our forum.

Pinky.  Hi

There are several ways to understand that we need God help.
Intelligent people have more intuition therefore for them is quite easy to understand this point
but for people with little intuition like some wizard mate of mine is still not that difficult to understand that point after all.
It only take a little bit of imagination.
Peace of mind is outside the material-physical-mental arena or world.
It is something that we can not find within this universe.
No matter who you are or what you do.
The reality within this universe is that we will never be able to satisfy our desire for peace of mind.
After getting to point B we want to get to point C and on and on with no end in sight.
You buy a new car.
After few days or weeks you will discover that you could buy the same car cheaper.
Not only that but you will discovered that a new model just came out which appear more
attractive to you and your mind is unable to find peace of mind.
It is impossible to find peace of mind unless you find it in the spiritual arena and in that case you need
God but this is something that you will find out the hard way considering your mental blindness.  Logic

Even a demented idiot would get that point.
In nature there is a continuum.
That means that the evolution follow similar patterns.
The elements are the same.
The only differences are that the evolved creature is bigger in consciousness but the
elements that compose the creatures are the same.
They are all made of energy and consciousness.
No exception to the rule.
Animals are conscious.
Plants too as we can see from plants searching for better conditions such as climbers.
And why not matter and all other elements that compose the universe?
Energy is everywhere but as we can not perceive consciousness in matter we find difficult
to believe that there is any.
Unfortunately few people understand that consciousness is at different stages of awareness
in different forms of life.
We as humans have more consciousness than animals a lot more than plants and infinitely
more that matter which consciousness lie in a latent stage.
The word latent is not the same as dormant but rather is existing but not yet developed or manifest.

One thing that appreciate from you is your honesty (in this case)
You admit that so far you or the current theory do not know.
I do believe that the trigger is the awakening of consciousness not just because yoga say so but
because it make sense.
Darwin theory that survival is the trigger doesn't make any sense.
Matter doesn't need to survive
Uranium and other forms of energy are released regardless
People learn things regardless of whether these things are important to survive or not so
Darwin theory is faulty while yoga theory make sense.

4) Atheists do not know whether reincarnation is needed in order to progress
from lower species to higher one.
There is no evidence supporting reincarnation.

Yes there is Wind.
NDEs have never been disproved even by the biggest study ever held by Dr Parnia.
And NDEs go hand in hand with reincarnation.
Not one or two people had these experiences but thousand of them.

And what part of NDEs didn't originate in the brain? http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Near-death_experience Scroll down to the scientific explanation section. (Didn't care to do more research and add more links since I know you're batshit crazy (no offense) and NDEs are bs).

Also consciousness originates in the brain, there's nothing special about it. You speak as if consciousness is something special, it's nothing more than neurons etc communicating. *whispers* "Apophenia" *whispers*

I'm just trying to figure out WTF he was even saying. Half of that isn't even English; "all your mighty is totally worthless" sounds like "all your base are belong to us".

I think someone set up us the bomb.

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Pinky.  Hi

Leave your magical tricks alone just for few minutes and think about the real reality.
Within this finite universe there is no such a thing as progress for the simple reason that
positive and negative always go hand in hand.
This is a fact not bullshit.
Once you get this true message then if you got any flash of intellect you should realize that
peace of mind is not achievable in the material-physical-mental arena therefore if it can be
achieved it can only be achieved in the spiritual arena where the negative has no effect.
You never thought about it Pinky, did you?  I'm all ears!

That is bizarre Roz.
In the past i did produce a number of studies only to be told that i really should take in serious consideration the biggest study ever carried out by the best expert in the field Dr. Parnia.
Guess what Roz.
I did read Dr. Parnia report and guess what?
He conclude that there is no evidence for or against NDEs and more study is needed to find out

So if the so called expert say no or yes how the hell mr. Roz can pop up and say no?
