Firefly was actually the worst of his works.

Doran had to die in order for that to happen the way the Snakes want it to. I assume Highgarden will side with the Martells. In the books "Young Griff" lands at Storm's End right about now, maybe we'll see the Blackfyre Targaryen (although I doubt it). All of the shit Cersei has stirred is about to fall in her lap. She is about to go to war with the Faith's Militant. She has meddled and fucked with the Queen of Thorns, and the Tyrells are about to boil over. The Lannisters and Cersei have fucked over the Martells and they are about to march through the Boneway and pick up the Tyrells on the way to Kings Landing. She has murdered enough Starks to start a war in the North, and now Sansa has escaped and probably will go to the Wall or Deepwood Motte if she's smart, where she'll hopefully take the North and bring the shit from the North as well. Prince Doran's death will probably not be unnecessary.

Just watched it.
And I think I agree with SC's view of what's to come from Dorne, from King's Landing, the Tyrells... Not sure what that thing with Melisandre was, but maybe we'll find out, eventually.... also BOOOyeah! toldya Jon would remain dead! (now, just to prove me wrong, they'll bring him back to life... of course!) Brienne rescuing Sansa was a nice touch... and Podrick did better than most squires would! Arya sucks at being blind! Not sure how they're going to make her meet Sam... if they are.... Sam... didn't see him... maybe next time. Danny will be a far way from home by the time Jorah and Daario find that Khalasar.... and then what'll happen to them? Maybe they'll get there soon enough, before she's "dispatched" to Vaes Dothrak and all hell will break loose.... (get it? all hell? Drogon ) Whitewalkers and Bran remain to be seen... And yes, it is known that GRR Martin has provided guidelines to the show's producers, so the book and show stories should coalesce back at some point. All of a sudden Podrick - who's not a swordsman and a pretty feeble rider - is able fence on horseback against trained soldiers? Not to mention that the way they were fighting (banging sword against sword) was pretty lame, even by TV standards. Also - what the f*ck happened to the hounds, the moment Brienne showed up? I imagine they'd put up quite a fight - in fact, if they were released they'd probably have torn Sansa and Theon to pieces, considering the way Ramsey "trained" them. But they just disappeared about halfway through. What happened? Did the guy holding them just go home, or something? Or is it that the producers thought the viewers couldn't handle the dogs being killed? Seriously - if a fight against dogs was too difficult to stage - which it might have been - then why have them there in the first place (especially that they looked like they really wanted to lick Sophie Turner's face - and who can blame them)? Just have Brienne show up a bit later, once the group split up - one or 2 soldiers could walk home with the hounds, while the rest escorted the prisoners on horseback - problem solved....

Well spotted.... the dogs... I guess they buggered off at the sight of Valyrian steel

The Romanian forum I'm frequenting is also talking about the damn dogs.
If this many people noticed it, I'm having trouble believing they didn't think it through and just made a mistake. I'm thinking they just overthought the plausible explanation for it.
I guess the scene got edited out due to being too gross for dog-lovers...
Also, Melisandre reactions! LOL http://mashable.com/2016/04/24/melisandr...reactions/ "Melisandre has been using a really strong Instagram filter " "Whatever she paid for that necklace on @QVC, it was worth it." "That's the first time a woman has ever been naked on #GameOfThrones and I've thought, "I have a better body."" "Melisandre's got mad accessorizing skills, you have to give her that." |
