You sound like my ex-wife.

What is that supposed to mean? If your x left you that is between you and her, don't see what that has to do with anything I have said in this thread.

Similar bitchy vibe, but without (presumably) the fabulous tits...

Everyone bitches, so what. Still don't see how that makes me like her or how someones living habits make them right or wrong. Whatever caused you to part is between you and her, not me.

"The basement argument"........

Ok, this is the bullshit pejorative slur used when someone doesn't like the argument or blasphemy of the other. "You must live in your parent's basement" since I don't agree with you. Now, I have seen this BULLSHIT argument used by BOTH atheists and theists, and even with political and economic views. AND IN ALL DIRECTIONS......... FUCKING KNOCK IT OFF.......How someone gets, their bills paid, or where they live is none of your fucking business unless you are directly involved in the relationship. If you are arguing religion, then stick to the topic. If you are arguing economics stick to the topic. But, I will not put up with EITHER theists or atheists demonizing someone one like this. BOTH ATHEISTS AND THEISTS........

Where someone lives or what their class is, has nothing to do with if they are right or wrong. What matters is the topic and the facts they have to back up their claims, not their living habits. (END RANT)

Brian...do you live in your parents' basement? Wink

It's not where you live but how and why you live. If the person is an unnecessary burden (at the age of maturity) to their parents/the community/society and they behave as if that is not a problem, that the world owes them something for being born, I'm going to take issue with that. If the person takes with no give there is a problem.

Trump has called Mexicans rapists, made issues of women's periods and called Vets losers. That douchebag also doesn't live in a basement.

Mostly because I already treat people the way you're ranting for right now. I don't give a fuck how you decide to live your life. But if you're going to be a fedora tipping cunt flap, I'm pretty sure the mom's basement taunt is going to come out.

People live with their parents for all kinds of reasons and I'm well aware of that - my ex did for some time before we moved in together because he was saving for a house. Some people do to take care of relatives. Some people do because they're hiding from abusive ex's.

It's not about disagreeing with someone's policies. It's about when they turn into douchecopters because you aren't paying their penis the respect they think it deserves.

Summerqueen, do you think it is valid to speak up about men's rights issues / injustices / sexism faced by men?

Just asking what your position is on this.

For example, would you consider me a misogynist if I were to say "It's about when they turn into douchecopters because you aren't paying their vagina the respect they think it deserves."
I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty. I must not be nasty.

No, but it should not matter if I did. Doesn't matter if my detractors on the other side of any issue do either.

The world owes itself more stability. If an individual is not draining their spouse, or their child or their family member and it is consensual, it is nobody's business. And what do you mean by "give"? You think earning a paycheck is the only way to give? If that is the case then every stay at home wife should be forced to get a job.

This isn't about the world owing individuals anything. This is about society owning itself more stability. Nobody is saying everyone be poor and everyone quit their jobs. You do what works for you, but what works for one is not a script for all.

Give? I said nothing about a paycheck. Give is not necessarily monetary. And way to slam women. Thanks for being negative.

OK, more stability how?

Yep, I'll keep doing what works.

Where did I slam women? I was being sarcastic about those who think men cant be supported or should not be supported. If a woman likes being sported and the man consents to it, that's fine. But it works both ways and even outside marriage that also applies to family members.

Yea any support that is NOT draining someone is fine. It only becomes a problem when it is draining someone.
