Glad I'm not the only one not being in the know. Kevin seems to know, according to his explanation. But, as I always say, I never was interested in atheism, atheist movements or atheist figureheads. Apart from some articles and documentariies featuring Dawkins, Harris or Hitchens, I didn't read a single line coming from them. And the documentaries with Dawkins were mainly about him being the presenter for a historical or scientific topic, not in any way related to atheism.
Haha, I only 'know' because I took a few moments to look it up. It wasn't anything I was familiar with until GC went off on it.
And, yeah, +1 to not being interested in atheist as a club. I hang out here because it's nice to escape to a safe place that's not theist-centric, but I have no desire to join a cause. I'm not much of a team player in any aspect of my life, likely because I always have a real chaperone hovering over me due to my disability. Which is also one of the reasons why the notion of an ever present god is the exact opposite of comforting to me. I have very little personal freedom as it is, I don't need another layer on top of it.
