Zhuan Falun (Turning The Law Wheel)

RE: Zhuan Falun (Turning The Law Wheel)
@EnergyGem,

Not to brag, but I have done a PhD on a topic closely related to holographic physics and extra dimensions, and the stuff you quote has absolutely nothing to do with the actual science.

You're quoting the party mouthpiece of the falun gong cult to show that falun gong is scientific? As Alex K has already said, oh please.

Tell you what, I'm looking to shift some fertile agricultural land in northern Ukraine (as I'm no good as a farmer), how about swapsies.

It's a great savings on the light bills too, with the healthy green glow.

Alex, I am not disputing your scientific credentials, I am sure you are accomplished in your field.

You mentioned and provided a picture of the LHC earlier in the thread saying this is where other dimensions will be found and perhaps you are right. What we can say for sure though is that the human brain is far more complex and enigmatic then any machine or scientific instrument created by man, scientists are still studying the brain and are baffled at it's intricacy.

There are many things about the human brain they still do not understand.

This article by Jon Lieff illustrates this matter quite nicely:

http://jonlieffmd.com/blog/subjective-experience-brain

The ancient cultivators of the past new that the human brain is the ultimate scientific tool to understand the mysteries of life, the human body and the universe. The techniques they mastered allowed one to understand the universe in a deeper and more profound way then our current science and scientific instruments can.

Here is a lecture excerpt from Master Li Hongzhi that expounds on some of this:

"...But even in this human environment here, that is, this human dimension that is composed of molecules, there are many, many of what could be called dimensions or space-times, which are invisible to humans. And what am I talking about? As you know, the human eye can see the colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet in this world.  You can see what’s within the range of these colors.

But scientists now know that there are more than these, right? Many other colors exist. Aren’t there higher frequencies, and longer wavelengths, in the light spectrum? And in fact, there are also lower frequencies in the light spectrum. Aren’t there things such as infrared, ultraviolet, and X-rays? It is those that I’m referring to. They too are part of this dimension and are likewise composed of molecules, and yet they’re invisible to the human eye.

It’s just like the piano, for example. Let’s say the human eye can see only the keys of one octave, even though the range of the piano is several octaves … seven of them. And the double bass has several low octaves as well. I’m just using the piano as a metaphor; the light spectrum is much more extensive than the range of a piano.

Everything is material. I’m just using the light spectrum to convey the idea. Those things really do exist. And molecules that really do exist make up the things of material existence, worlds, space-times, and so on. But the human eye can see only this very narrow portion, or what’s in this one octave, when there are countless other octaves that people can’t perceive, both lower ones and higher ones."

Constable Dorfl there have been other tests performed, like this one that was performed by Stanford University:

RE: Zhuan Falun (Turning The Law Wheel)
You should understand that what I have shared with you is not a religion or a qigong for healing or fitness. It is the canon of the universe that is a far more profound science then what our current contemporary science has come to understand.

Actually many people in science hold on to their notions and get swayed by emotion rather then seeking the Truth and doing real science. Master Li has spoken about this:

"The most difficult things for people to abandon are their notions. Some people cannot change, even if they have to give up their lives for fake principles. Yet notions are themselves acquired postnatally. People always believe that these unshakable ideas—ideas that can make them pay any price without a second thought—are their own thoughts. Even when they see the truth they reject it. In fact, other than a person’s innate purity and innocence, all notions are acquired postnatally and are not a person’s actual self.

If these acquired notions become too strong, their role will reverse by dictating a person’s true thinking and behavior. At this point, that person might still think that they are his own ideas. This is the case for almost all contemporary people.

In dealing with relevant, important matters, if a life can really assess things without any preconceived notions, then this person is truly able to take charge of himself. This clearheadedness is wisdom, and it is different from what average people call “intelligence.” If a person cannot do that, then he is dictated by acquired notions or external thoughts. He might even devote his entire life to struggling for them; but when he gets old, he will not even know what he has been doing in this lifetime. Though he has achieved nothing in his lifetime, he has committed innumerable mistakes while being driven by these acquired notions. Therefore, in his next life he will have to pay for the karma according to his own wrong deeds.

When a person becomes agitated, what controls his thoughts and feelings is not reason, but emotion. When a person’s various notions, such as his faith in science, religion, or an ideology, etc., are being challenged by the truth of the Buddha Fa (Buddha Law), he also becomes agitated. This causes the evil side of human nature to predominate, thereby making him become even more irrational; this is a result of being controlled by the acquired notions. He blindly jumps to conclusions or complicates the matter. Even a person with a predestined relationship can lose the preordained opportunity because of this, turning his own actions into eternal, deep regrets."

You still haven't answered my question of hiw you got to all this bullshit from science. As we often say in this neck of the woods when giving directions, I wouldn't be starting from here if I were you.
