Let me ask you this.  Where does any fucking church get off regulating marriage?

That was my last point. It shouldn't be a legal contract. Its between two people that love each other and God if they are so inclined. The state should have no part in it. And I didn't mention a fucking church I mentioned a fucking imam haha. Nice try Minnie. A church, mosque or any secular institution should have the freedom to provide or refuse service to anybody they see fit. Nothing more.

Awful lot of people would die because of that, dude. You ever been denied medical care because of a doctor's opinion of your lifestyle? You ever been, say, septic at the time?

My wife has. She was lucky she had enough time before her, you know, lethal blood poisoning killed her, to skip states and go somewhere else, but it very well could have been the end of her life right there. Now, imagine the shit that would go down if that kind of thing was totally legal.

Is your weird, libertarian pride worth one life? How about two? How many people should die, so that you get to feel your religion isn't overly burdened by the social contract it takes ruthless and constant advantage of?

The bleating we're hearing nowadays is, to use a German general's rich phrasing, "the rage of dreaming sheep."

Health care is a whole separate debate. There are no lives on the line when we are talking about the state being involved in the bedroom or in peoples love lives.   I think the people can handle that just fine.  On a side note, that really sucks about your wife. Glad everything turned out ok. And to answer your other question, I have indeed been denied medical service because of a doctors opinion of my lifestyle. Pretty messed up when that happens.

In the Bible people used human shit to cook their food.
