As a sexual partner I really enjoy pleasing the other. That's what I get out of it.
I find it hard to please only one person forever.
I want to please everyone.
I don't place a lot of importance on sex. I think it's a friendly thing.
Like giving someone a massage.
I do understand that a monogamist feels a lot of pain when cheated on.
For this reason I would agree to remain monogamous if I loved someone.
Perhaps being in love would change my perspective.
But I'm not in love at the moment so.....anyone want a massage? :-)

People often tend to think by non-monogamous I mean that I am cheating on all the people I am with. But that is so far from the truth. I would never go into a relationship pretending to be someone I'm not. Fairness and compromise with complete and total honesty...that is what makes a relationship lasting, regardless of monogamy. Just be upfront with people about who you are and how you feel and what you want.

Monogamous. Married for 11 months and 2 weeks, 6 week old baby, so yeah, no time for anything else really!

In all seriousness though, I got married at 36. I have had my fun, had relationships where playing away was OK, but my oats have been sown. I'm in love with a woman who just wouldn't contemplate any other way, and that is just fine by me.

I've always been monogamous. That's my personal preference, both romantically and sexually.

Surly if you live a non monogamous lifestyle by definition you're coming into close proximity with at least 2 vaginas.

Well, I'm a single virgin and not really interested in relationships. Or sex for that matter, maybe it's because I haven't had it but I just don't see the appeal.

I think I am similar but perhaps a little different. I think I am sexually non-monogamous but with a clear favorite or favorites. I think I am also capable of being romantically non-monogamous but it feels more natural and fulfilling to me when I have a clear romantic focus on the person I love the most.

The wanting to bail when feeling trapped or smothered makes sense to me because no one should have to feel that way. I think relationships should be positive for everyone involved. That is not at all to say that I think anyone should bail at the first sign of relationship difficulties as problems can be temporary and I think a relationship valued by all people involved is worth fighting for: but I think some people sometimes stay in a relationship for its own sake even when it's not working and I definitely think ending a relationship is preferable to staying in a bad one.
