Yet so many Christians I've encountered, especially apologists and creationists, are just so prideful.

How does that fit your claim, Lek?

You see val if you are a child of christ there is a different type of pride they are prideful of god the spirit and the holy ghost.
they say hateful things because they love us and want us to conform to their way of prideful thinking like a true sheep in the face of god.
why else would they say the devil planted fossils or that you cannot determined the truth date of the earth.  Angel

were people we don't like perfect at all so to put it like so we would all be the same in some sort of hive mind of worshipers. I haven't even touched the worst part we don't get to do the things we do on earth in heaven like eat drink or even sleep and not to mention we will have no free will in heaven. Then what about.. the unborn and toddlers that would be the majority of heaven. Also in heaven you get a good view of people getting tortured in hell and since you have no free will you would be happy that is sadism on a epic level. So yeah a eternity of worship and singing songs watching people getting punished and being happy about it.. forever.. Hell it is much more of a pleasant place than heaven.

What if it wasn't forever?
Just for years and years and years, billions upon billions?

In heaven, God should fix the part of us that would get bored now, shouldn't he?

Even in this life, you should see old people acting like teenagers when their death is close..clinging to life, as if their whole lifetime wasn't enough.

And something about spending long numbers of years in a sad place, while you know for sure, that others are "having fun" and that you, had the chance to be with them, and you missed it.

The problem with heaven is that all the things one was to avoid to get to heaven are now completely off limits. The only thing left is to stand in awe before god forever and ever and ever .... Thinking

I literally stated it would be a eternal church service by worshiping god.

These verses were just..scary.

I imagined the place to be just like this, based on what I read in the Quran. I believe there are many things in the bible which are extra, but this is...interestingly stunning, and to me it is identical to the Quranic description of Hell.

I had my doubts from the Quranic context; that hell is the second death, the bible verses do assert that.

Well considering the the quran's writers did borrower a lot from the bible and the bible borrowed a lot from the NT they are are going to have their similarities.
Even though you can say oh i read the bible that means i know the quran that would be the understatement of the decade as their is enough in both books
to make them different altogether.  In the christian bible hell is temporary even the people who didn't believe and or atheists get they get into heaven
the quran they don't get such a treatment. But yeah using hell as a determent is a dangerous idea itself.  And even then heaven itself has its frightening parts.

The word "eternal" was a topic of confusion for me in Islamic literature, to be honest.

It is mentioned explicitly that a second death is coming, following the verse:

Sura 40
( 11 )   They will say, "Our Lord, You made us lifeless twice and gave us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there to an exit (from hell) any way?"

That is what shocked me in the biblical verses. The speak about the second death in hell, just like the verse above speaks about that second death; too.
I see it more like a...type of consistency in revelation? Mohammed peace be upon him, was sent by the same lord that of Jesus's peace be upon him.
