Yeah, the SCOTUS isn't going to magically reverse 200+ years of precedence. It's going to take a Constitutional amendment to make any meaningful change, and frankly, that's not likely in our lifetimes. I mean, if 20 or so elementary school students getting slaughtered a few years ago couldn't change anything, nothing will.

Plenty of Scandinavian countries have high gun ownership, but low gun crime. This suggests to me that some balance can be made where guns aren't banned outright, but gun crime is reduced.
