A predominantly Shia area of Baghdad was blown up by alleged ISIS members. Over 100 dead

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie

We're going to see this for some time, as long as these extremists exist.
Even once ISIS loses all it's territory, they will continue to attack in cells.

Yes, I read about it on our national news. Things like that usually don't make international headlines though. It's happening on a daily basis, but as long as Europeans or Americans don't get hurt, hardly anyone takes note.

Well, you can't wipe them out, but you certainly could dry them out. Any attempt in wiping them out results in civilian deaths and more possible recruits, when conducted from the air. Drying them out has shown some positive results. Such as pushing them back on the ground and rob them of resources they could turn into funds.

Well, it is obvious, isn't it?
But to give an impression how western news works. The 100 deaths there already take the backseat compared to the attack at Istanbul. The article already has been pushed back behind who's won an author's contest and a paraglider crashing. That's obviously more important than a 100 lives being lost, as long as it's not one of our own.

As much as he gets criticism from his opponents, I think Obama is handling this the correct way.

Indeed. I even put a nice little image in my post for you.

Well, it's on the front page of BBC News and it's also been on TV numerous times. It's also on the front page of Sky News, the Guardian and other major sources. So you're obviously talking out your ass, again.

The story barely got a mention in the Washington Post digital edition.
"ISIS’s ambitions are growing even as its territory shrinks
The slaughter of civilians in Istanbul, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Baghdad over the past week reveal two possible patterns: that strikes beyond the caliphate's borders are becoming more frequent and are being conducted by gangs of assailants, instead of an individual assailant.
