Well, let's just wait and see what it turns out to be. Twitter isn't the most reliable source. The livetickers of German and Austrian tv stations don't report anything new. Only useless stuff such as Obama granting his support (wonder what kind) or other German states alerting their own police forces.

Just watched it again after posting, my husband found the video and recognised the carpark because he's been there. The man in the video was firing shots from a pistol.

It isn't in accordance with news coverage and police reports. Perpetrators still at large, armed with rifles, not handguns. Also, I may repeat what a Munich police spokesman said earlier this evening. There's a lot of bullshittery going on on social media, binding their otherwise needed forces to investigate rumors.

I don't know how you do it in your funny country, but here the police is not only not the judicial system, there is also no capital punishment. If they kill the perp, it's because of present danger.
