I'm too chicken to...

... post in the "what I really think about you" threads. I picture what they'd say and oh my holy Zeus nailed to a pickle. Not going there.
You chicken? What makes you chicken? Public speaking? Public mathing?
It's ok if this thread dies quickly. I just wanted to throw it out there. Dude, I'm chicken.
And my phone died. Charging it in my car in the heat. I'm a cooked chicken.

I'm chicken about a lot of things, which is why I put up this hard shell.

What hard shell, EP? You're a soft little teddy penguin with a big beak. Lol
Your beak is sharp, but you're still a penguin.

Only the turtliest have shells. Beaks? Another story.
As for me, I'm chicken about everything. I kind of chickened out from attending an SDSU fan fest the other day because I wasn't sure about the restroom sitch (with SB, you gotta think about these things).
I get chicken about speaking at a public meeting.

Speaking in front of a large crowd.
Fuck that.

I can't imagine for one second that anyone would have anything but positive things to say about you.

I read that as "public mething". No bueno. Don't do that.

If you're talking about irrational or hyped up fears, I get a bit jumpy in my job sometimes because on some shifts it involves walking through wooded areas at 3am and dark buildings alone.
I can't stand moths, not too bothered about tiny ones but those fat hairy bastards just seem unnatural. When they're so big you can kind of sense sort of personality in their face that's when I get disturbed.
I have a fear of public speaking only when it's something I don't want to be saying. Like in school if they force you to act in drama lessons.
There's some stuff I probably shouldn't mention outside of area 69.
Other than that I think most my fears are pretty rational.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
