Just fine if it were my gram.  Seriously.  She will be dead. That is not, nada, gone.  She will not be there to feel betrayed that there is no heaven.  But her last hours will be happier.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by offering up an authentic prayer. Call it a experiment. If you think it doesn't work , fine. Otherwise, placebos sometimes work. At worst you are giving her and yourself a sugar pill.

More than ever before minimalist proves that he is a complete asshole. He would be more concerned about his own possible feelings of reget than providing comfort to a dying family member.
