Quote:WASHINGTON – The FBI and other U.S. security agencies are investigating cyber breaches targeting reporters at the New York Times and other U.S. news organizations that are thought to have been carried out by hackers working for Russian intelligence, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed U.S. officials.
“Investigators so far believe that Russian intelligence is likely behind the attacks and that Russian hackers are targeting news organizations as part of a broader series of hacks that also have focused on Democratic Party organizations, the officials said,” CNN said.
Reuters could not immediately confirm the report. The FBI declined to comment, and representatives for the U.S. Secret Service, which has a role in protecting the country from cyber crime, did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

That's been on the news here quite a bit. At least the Russians won't glean anything useful from hacking the news organizations. They don't report anything true anyway. All in all it just shows how lax the Obummer administration and the dems have been on national security.

Heard this on BBC on my way home. Big surprise, right? Nations spying on each other?! What's next, dogs and cats living together?
Laying this at the feet of any administration, AT, is silly. All nations spy on each other. We've spied on our allies the Germans during Bush the Shrub's administration, Pollard spied on us on Israel's behalf during the godling Reagan's administration ... and so it goes.
Succinctly, what do you think Obama did wrong that caused this to be possible?

Succinctly, what do you think Obama did wrong that caused this to be possible? You're downplaying that the Russians have hacked our computer systems here? Youre not the least concerned how far the hackers may have gone, even where it may involve our national security?

I asked you a question: what do you think Obama did wrong that caused this to be possible?
You'll either answer it, or you won't. But in no circumstances will you be able to turn this conversation around so that you can avoid it. You specifically blamed Obama. Now you have to present your facts which presumably support your claim.
You will answer that question, or you won't.

Fuck that. You first. You're the one who dismissed it. You tell me why you think the Russians hacking into our computer systems is of no consequence and I'll answer your question why Obumfuck is to blame.

Who dismissed anything? Other than yourself ofc, by suggesting that there was nothing to learn from that hack.
I saw the acknowledgement that espionage was business as usual. I've never understood this "dems are weak on national security" narrative..particularly in the case of Obama. The man's a drone warlord ffs.....
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yup. Happens all the time. Nothing to worry about. The dems seem more indifferent and lax toward national security rather than just saying they're weak. It's not high on their list of priorities. Obumfuck spent his first term in office getting Obumfuck care passed. It was to hell with everything else.
Yeah, a few drones here and a few drones there. A red line here and a red line there. Yup, he really has ISIS on the run.
