Lol my sauce stands on its own merits. A seven generation family recipe from Calabria, Sicily that I've tweaked a little bit

Just goes to show the difference in sense of humour between a "woman of colour" (as she says herself and everyone else is "white", so, she is racist", and also sexually repressed too because sex was the first thing that came to mind, which usually does with feminists) and an Irish person. You have got to love the Irish and their humour, the best in the world.

Bold is mine.
Well, if it is not only your sauce, but an ancestral recipe, then I will add nothing further. Forget I said anything about the harissa since nothing can beat an ancestral recipe.

Thanks
I'm really proud if how it turns out a rich red color and the flavor is so rich. My ancestors would be proud that I still start with homegrown tomatoes. It's a day long process which is why I make it in such large batches (18 pounds).
Then I freeze it off in containers.

My friend in The States is trying to raise funds to complete her studies this year. If anyone would be willing to donate any amount or even just share, it would be v appreciated.
Thanks

So, instead of buying normal tomatoes, you actually grow your own....? Shame the internet doesn't have a smellavision..... As for the quantity, that is a massive amount. I only have a small stomach so, I wouldn't be able to appreciate large quantities. Either way, as we say in France, "chapeau."

Just one criticism, but I am sure if you had used natural gas as opposed to electricity, your dish would be even better simply because you would be able to control the heat which ensures a decent cooking procedure. Apart from that, it looks delis...

Yeah, we rent our house so we're stuck with the appliances that come with the place. But I digress, I would much rather cook with gas.
