Dead battery after a week of non-use?

My old Seat Ibiza would do that... turns out the on-board computer thingy wasn't going to sleep with the car turned off and was draining the battery... not enough to notice if I used the car daily, but leave it for a few days and it would die.
Firmware updated, 40€ later, it's fine and my brother is now a very happy car owner.
