Where else?
RE: Where else?
1) Instinct is evolved, it helps with survival.

2)Everything is destined for death, like this thread hopefully.

By surviving you struggle and the struggle build up more consciousness so this has got to be the aim.

Wrong again Ex.  Shake Fist

This thread will surely finish sooner or later but the knowledge that has been build up by reading this thread is not dead so the thread is like food that enter the mouth, leave energy in the body and then leave through the back side.

Yet more proof that you know jack all about evolution, instinct and consciousness.....among the rest.  Shake Fist

1) Evolution is driven by instinct.
Instinct to go up to higher level of consciousness.

So I take it you've dispensed with providing evidence and are just in full bore assertion mode. Ho hum.

Blah, blah, blah. Of course if something is moving it is going to end up someplace else, that doesn't mean that its motion is driven by that someplace else where it will end up. The destination of most things is incidental, not special. And evolution isn't driven by ends. So, wrong again.

Atheists never thought that marching towards perfection means marching towards God.
They never thought about that, did they?  Wink

Marching towards perfection? I'm not marching towards perfection any more than I'm marching towards God.

I find Little Rick a little hard to take and his thought processes seem a bit convoluted.

Any time I see post with his name(?) on it I generally just say to myself Whoops another post to let slide by.  Angel

Bubbling again yog.  Shake Fist

It is a reality that by following the instinct plants and animals develop higher consciousness
so higher consciousness is the goal.  Lightbulb

If the destination would be incidental then the universe would have disintegrated billion years ago.
When you let the chances to dictate the result then you lose.

You never thought about that yog, did you?  Smile

I have read a few books on evolution : The Selfish Gene, and The Blind Watchmaker by Dawkins , The Making of the Fittest by Sean Carroll. Studied Biology in college. From Lil Riks remarks I can see that this "Book" is the only one he has studied regarding evolution:

God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

How sad to see people like you that contradict themselves all the time.  Shake Fist

Right now that you are reading this post and thinking how to knock down my ideas you do so because
that suppose to give you a competitive edge which produce (if successful of course) a high degree of consciousness.

Why then deny that the evolution is not individual?
You are the one that would benefit if successful.
Not anyone else so the evolution of the specie is all bullshit.
Atheists are blinded in thinking that evolution of the specie is real on the ground that so many creatures
pop up at the same time in a particular area.
This is only due to the fact that every single creature end up there where they can fit better.
Nothing to do with collective evolution.  Lightbulb

For Christ's sake chimp do you ever think before you say something?  Shake Fist  Shake Fist  Shake Fist

If animals would be evolved as us they would not be animals at all.
If you would give a human consciousness to an animal this would die in no time.
Just imagine you inside an animal body.
You would not be able to express yourself nor to act as a human.
Your frustration to be stuck into an animal body would knock you down straight away.

You never thought about that chimp, did you?  Shake Fist

What chimp said was 100% correct, you are 100% wrong.

It makes no sense to say 'more evolved'. Evolution is about environments, and adaption to the environmental landscape; there are no goals. Are humans more evolved than fish when humans swim underwater? Are we more evolved then a falcon when trying to hunt pigeons in mid air?

What you've said is utterly ridiculous. We are animals. We are apes, and we have a clear and demonstrable lineage showing us we are apes.

At least you're not insulting people directly now, but instead indecently with your silliness. Jesus why have I responded to this thread? Allah help me.
