Let's work backwards. We all have choices we can make. I can choose to type this sentence or not. But some choices have moral consequences tied to them. I can choose to type a racist sentence or not. Cutting to the chase, A&E can morally choose to not break the rule given to them, much like we try not to break the law.
Quote: Is that "someone" supposed to be some kind of moral authority?
Yes, since God created the thing over which authority is in question.
Quote: Upon what grounds?
Being God.

The "moral consequence" of disobeying god was..if the story is to be believed, being cursed by same-said god. Does that speak to mans morality or gods?

Il;m not sure that makes something an authority, let alone a moral authority. I "created" my children...hopefully they realize that my word isn't the last word...that I can be wrong and/or just plain nuts. Just like I realized with my folks. This is just a ridiculous concept of ownership. I reject the concept of ownership /w regards to human beings. No one owns them regardless of whether or not they "created" them. How about you?

Is that a moral issue with moral consequences? If I took my pants off right now..does that make me a good or a bad person? What are the consequences of nakedness, or awareness of nakedness?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Sleight of hand there. We're not talking about A&E, we're talking about the metaphysics God created, namely, morality. It's fine to own a set of ideas. So of course God doesn't own them (to my mind), and he's just a judge at an eternal court proceeding.

Yup. Because the creator of Google has no authoritative grounds over Google.

LOL< you have to preview sometimes to see the undercode. It's np.
What sleight of hand? What metaphysics did god create? You talk as if this was a settled issue. I say god created nothing. What qualifies an -existent- god as a judge anyway? What court? What proceeding? So much of this shit is just taken at an unspoken face value..I don't understand. I wasn;t raised in this nonsense. You can't take shortcuts with me, you have to start at the bottom or I'll never get it.
Is a human being google? Let me get this straight, you do..in fact, accept the ownership of human beings in the same way and for the same reasons as you accept the ownership of google? How far do you think that's going to get with me?

Okay...are you familiar with the law, and how the legal system works?

This is the sleight of hand. I should be asking "is Google a human being"? Because I thought we were talking about ownership over morals themselves, not people.

Why would god have ownership of human morals any more than ownership of human people? It's called self determination. Try it sometime. Let's not pretend anyone's engaging in sleight of hand here but yourself. You stepped in shit..and frankly, there's no way out of it now. You're suggesting, here, that my cat might have some authority over my morality, and there's no way for you to justify that in the case of god or my cat that doesn't amount to something you'd rather not be seen saying.
That suggests, to me, that you know better.
A cat, or an existent god for that matter...might have it's own morality, and it may own that. That says nothing about a human morality, or any given human beings morality. There's no room there for cross species or inter-individual moral proscription.

I'll ruin the ending - God is the judge.

I said God created morality, you compared it to creating children. Children aren't ideas, sorry.
Do the police have ownership over you?

No, the police don't have ownership over me...and as expected, you're wasting my time. The police aren't agents of morality , and self appointed moral "judges" don't impress me. You're describing god like it's a jilted girlfriend, who's super certain I was wrong about something and so deserve some sort of punishment, lol.
OFC -she- would think that. Get in line.

If judges don't impress you, then I can't do anything about that. However, I'm baffled at how you apparently tolerate a community which gives them value.

Their value comes from agreement. A societal contract. Last I checked, your godthing didn't seek out counsel or appointment. It;s no different than my crazy cousin cletus standing on a dumpster issuing moral proclamtions.
Why should anyone care?
We can position and play all night... but I'm better at that than you are, so, hedge your bets and come up with a justification...for a change. I'll probably laugh at it, but at least you'll have done it, and in so doing afforded yourself a smidgeon of integrity.
