Needs more favouring;

- Green energy
- A debate culture, where differing ideas are brought to the table and (short of threats or violence) are not censored just because they're not popular.

Needs more scorn;

- Uh, religion.
- Climate Change denial, and acts which contribute to climate change
- Celebrity-worship. Not celebrities themselves, but this culture of acting like their personal lives are newsworthy and important.

The norms of my house (a society of 4) differ from the norms of my neighborhood, which differ from the norms of my city, which differ from the norms of my country, ................

I attune my norms to operate at my comfort level with in the context.

The loss of opportunity is a harm regardless of whether it is experienced or not. For example, you could not get a job because of a false rumor. You didn't know about the rumor. Nor did you know that you didn't get the job because of the rumor. Even still you were harmed by it.

Someone who is never born doesn't just fail to gain an opportunity (not technically a "loss" of opportunity because you can't lose what you've never had)... they don't have to suffer either. And again, if no one was born the world would stop being fucked up. Death=bad, not being born=neutral or good.
