You don't like Hillary? Don't vote for Hillary. And definitely don't use it as excuse to give a bigot a pass.
Voting third party in a POTUS race is the same as voting for the person you like the least.
When I got my ballot this time around, you know how many third party candidates there were other than Johnson and Stein for President?
None. Not a single one in a state or local race. And now the third parties are going to take their three year vacation from the face of the earth until they self-righteously return to siphon off votes from whomever it is that's running against Herr Drumpf.
A vote for President is also a vote for the makeup of the Supreme Court, which can mean a vote that lasts for decades. So it doesn't matter if you don't like the candidate, you can look at their basic ideals and see how law of the land lawmaking is going to go because of their time in office. Now Trump is going to pick at least one, and maybe as many as three SCOTUS justices. And look who he's surrounded himself with.
That's what third party voting helped accomplish this election.
But.... But... They can sleep better at night.

Oh, yeah, it's totally the fault of the people that didn't like either candidate. These people and their thinking that they shouldn't be forced election after election to choose between a douche and a turd sandwich. They should just shut up and pick an asshole. It's the American way, after all.
It had nothing to do with Hillary being a lying corporate shill. It had nothing to do with her being an establishment politician in the pocket of Wall St. It had nothing to do with her inability to connect to rural voters. It had nothing to do with Hillary giving Wasserman-Schulz a job after she got caught trying to rig the primary. It had nothing to do with her poor handling of classified information.
You can go ahead and keep blaming third party voters. But you may as well just extend Trump's lease on the White House for four more years.

What if part of the reason you don't like Hillary is that she's a bigot too? You guys seem to have forgotten superpredators.

If they're both bigots, then maybe we shouldn't have voted for either of them? Pretty standard appeal to hypocrisy, pretty standard answer to an appeal to hypocrisy.
I managed not to vote for clinton or trump. It's not like that wasn't an option for everyone.

Voting for the lesser of the evils which actually have a chance of winning is also a reasonable option.

Incredible! But, as the article states, Trump's victory may turn out to be the best thing for the progressive cause, assuming, of course, that the SCOTUS judges can live on (and on and on!)
As I alluded to in a different thread. Many/Most of this group are the same people that for years have been railing against the poor for using any sort of welfare security net to help them get by and improve their situation. You know the group, "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". Now they bitch and moan that the economy, society, the world has passed them by. Unemployment is low, yet they lack the skills nor the will to achieve the skills needed to get a better paying job. They want their coal mining, street sweeping, snow plowing, assembly line, and foundry jobs back.
Unions are the devil.. Because "they" don't belong to one. They are angry at what others have and they don't. Math and science are useless because they demonstrate "inconvenient" truths such as evolution and climate change. Ironically, these are the same white, blue collar workers from states who hadn't voted for a Republican president since the 1980s. These are the very people who gave both Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama two terms each as president. They were a loyal voting block for the Democrats over the last 30 years, until this election. You far left dumb shit sore losers can go right on and continue with your calling everyone who doesn't agree with you, racists, bigots, xenophobes, sexists, nazis, yada, yada, yada. Continue berating your once loyal voting base. I can see Trump getting reelected for a second term. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Hillary Lost! Trump Won!

Sure, so long as you're willing to put your name behind whatever evil that is, to own what you accepted.

Actually the left -isn;t- berating the bigots anymore, and those bigots they were berating never were their base. They're telling folks like me not to berate bigots...because they're a bunch of pansies, lol.

I wouldn't be too sure. All the Democrats need to do is find a better candidate than Hillary (which shouldn't be hard) and stop marginalizing such a large group of people. I hope Trump does a good job taking care of our country, but unfortunately I kinda doubt it.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
