What Do You Think?
RE: What Do You Think?
What's the point of me trying to convince you of any great thing?

You're a bunch of moronic idiots!!

Cool

Ok, so convince me and account for gravity. Since it 'came to you from the cosmos' and is 'self-evident' it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Mom! That mean man on the internet is doing it again! Make him stop!
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I say gravity is a miraculous wonder

If you disagree do you do so on the basis of blind faith

or do you have repeatable, observable

scientific experiments to back you up?

So, if I say it's an invisible rubber band, it would be true, unless you can provide evidence that your miraculous wonder is not based on blind faith?

My whole point has been:

You atheists have been brainwashed to believe

gravity is not intelligently designed

when you have nothing but your BLIND FAITH

to back the premise up

I'm guessing you say that everything you don't understand is a miraculous wonder. So?

I, on the other hand, can't account for gravity. I lack the necessary expertise to even begin thinking productively about the problem. But my fallback position when I run up against my ignorance isn't "God did it" or "miracle!".

Your so-called answer is just another way of saying, "I don't have the slightest idea," but you're too arrogant and stupid to realize that.

*sigh* I had so looked forward to watching you accept that Nobel physics prize. Good thing I didn't buy the ticket to Stockholm.

You know?... that's not how rational thought works.
You don't start off with what things are not.
You go looking for what they are.

Gravity can "not be" many many many things. But it is only one thing.
If it is intelligently designed, science should eventually get there.
Until then, there is no reason to assume that it is.

Why do you believe that it is intelligently designed?
Because you can't understand the current physical understanding? Because it's not sufficient for your high standards?
Or because you are the one who's been brainwashed to find an intelligent designer in everything and look down on everyone else who is a tiny bit of intellectually honest with themselves and others around them?
