Water can be compared to many things and it can work in harmony with many things to go with the flow in reality.  It's all one big whole isn't it ?

What gravitates me toward Taoist philosophy is how simple it is. I mean, Lao Tzu's words may be confusing the first time you read them, but it all revolves around simplicity. It doesn't require any pseudo-historical B.S. that the Bible asks us to believe. Just profound statements about nature that have, for the most part, stood the test of time.

Something can only be perfect with regard to a specific goal. In that regard, it may contain no flaws. Otherwise, it's just some vague subjective idea.

That's easily accomplished in an abstract system.

In reality, what can we say? Anything is perfect at being itself. It contains absolutely no flaws in this regard. (Assuming the law of identity.)

For something to be "perfect," it has to exactly match what it should be. But what should be other than what it is?
