If the goal is regime change, that never turns out well. Most likely we will replace a police state dictatorship with an Islamist terror state. That would be if it goes that far. Our politicians never learn their lesson. Of course they are bought off by the military industrial complex.

Actually, that guy is not in much of a position to answer either. It's horrible that he lost kids in the chemical attacks, but that doesn't give him any insight into Trump's long term goals or strategy. For all he knows Trump could be planning to start WWIII, or maybe he even just used the launch as a publicity stunt and plans to leave them to their own devices. This missile launch doesn't mean shit if there isn't a long term plan, and given that Trump thinks Jared Kushner can bring peace to region, this guy shouldn't be holding out hope that Trump has even the slightest clue of what he's doing.

Boy, it would sure be nice if we had a functioning State department right now, wouldn't it? Trump can't even get the basics right, and people think he's somehow going to solve the Syrian crisis? Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.
