So.....
Evidently, when my other half eats, I gain the goddamn weight.
How is that even fair?

I'm not sure how well I did today. I've had a three and eight-year-old since 9 o'clock this morning. I think I did okay, but nothing special. I wound up eating mac and cheese for dinner and getting a small bit of ice cream.

Well, my goal was 2 pounds a week. So far, I've managed one pound a week. That's good enough for now!

Thanks for the cheat day, Zombie Jesus! Cheese potatoes, sweet potatoes, biscuits, ham, rib-eye and pie! Yum to the max! Don't worry. I only ate small portions of all that deliciousness.

Honestly, that sounds like a LOT of calories :|
(Jk, with kids around you probably burned more than after a solid workout )

Worked a 15 and a half hour shift last night (not sure about the legality of that but I'm not complaining because I asked to do it) no time for the gym.
Plus I developed a really bad pain on the top of my foot when walking in steel toe cap boots. I've got a couple of 12 hour shifts to do I'm going to attempt to do them in soft shoes. I'm not trying to be the work place rebel but I'm genuinely in a lot of foot pain.
Anyway all of this adds up to not much gym time. I kept my diet good though, only had chicken and rice in work, salmon and chickpeas when I got home.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

I pretty much weigh the same as when the month started. I think I've only gone down 1 or 2 pounds if anything. I need to eat less if I am to lose anything, not that I'm putting in a lot of effort, so it is to be expected.

1 or 2 pounds would be a pretty good weight loss for 2 weeks.
Ppablo, you have to take care of your feet, for sure. Definitely invest in new boots too. Steel toe are not supposed to be that uncomfortable.

Easter break is over!
No more chocolates.... oh wait, what are those brown things?... yum yum!
ahem.... yes, well.... so I've eaten some more chocolates than is usual for me in these past few days
And today, the bike's gears seemed to start a bit stuck... maybe due to the cold? The nights are nearing zero degrees Celsius, here! And it's practically Summer in Portugal... -.-'
Anyway... minimum gear, today: 6th, after getting them unstuck. Before that, it was 1st!
