SURVIVOR: Game Changers

RE: SURVIVOR: Game Changers
Could be. Definitely seems like the dynamic will chenge, just from the uncorking of the stress of being around her. She was always entertaining to me, but 1) I'd likely kill her IRL, and 2) I wonder if people can think a bit straighter without her overbearing presence around.

A lot of her annoying personal was an act, IMO, though not all. If you could stand to keep her around, she's pure dynamite to take to the end because she can't win unless she really wows the jury during final tribal.

CD, by that reasoning, Michaela is the perfect person to bring along to the final 3. According to the reports we hear from other players (although I don't remember seeing that) she's an impossible person and no one likes her.

Well, the idea is to get to tribal with players you can beat, so yeah. However Michaela is a physical threat to win immunity and that's probably an overriding reason to get rid of her. Strategic threats are more dangerous at this stage so I don't expect her to get voted off immediately.

WHOA!!!!!! Big Grin

I'm really sad Zeke is gone, I liked him as a player, but at the same time I'm glad he was the one to get the boot since it solidifies Cirie in the game a little more.  (Why she isn't recognized as the biggest social threat out there is simply mystifying...)

I agree when Michaela was pointing out that voting him out right now puts the new majority in a tricky situation (5 to 4) and I would have personally probably wanted to keep him around for one more vote to force the minority to have to flip two people but at the same time Zeke is a dangerous player and the longer he stays in the more chances he has to flip the script.

The final vote was AWESOME! A total viewer blindside since they were playing it up like the vote was going to be Sierra (damn, she's still there...) so kudos to the editors

Final vote breakdown:
Tai - Brad, Sierra, Troy
Sierra - Tai, Zeke
Zeke - Andrea, Aubry, Cirie, Michaela, Sarah

What's really surprising to me is that after an entire day (or multiple days) of Sarah trying to save Zeke because she could work with him she finally relented and voted for him.  Unfortunately, according to the preview for next week the thing that was dangerous about voting Zeke out (then needing only one person to flip) might happen, and it might be Sarah that does it. Dodgy

What's also interesting is now the best players are in the current majority whereas two episodes ago they were looking down that dark path to Ponderosa and wondering if it would be them that night at tribal.

If survivor were about finding food and shelter Ozzy would be the winner.

If survivor were only about being able to find idols and doing really bad at tribal council Tai would win. Tongue

My understanding was that people (1) couldn't trust her, and you need to keep people around that you can trust, (2) thought she was gaining power and (as we've all learned since January 20th) Crazy + Power =  bad news.

I agree she had next to no chance of winning if she got to the end but crazier things have happened in survivor...

Yeah, this was a bad time to vote in-alliance, no matter who it was. Voluntarily giving up a 2 vote advantage is like begging the low rung of your alliance to flip. Better hope no one thinks they're in that spot. Then again, alliances have been very fluid in this game so who knows?

I have no idea why they're letting Cirie fly under the radar. There's a reason why she was voted off super early in Heroes v. Villains. Personally, I'd love to see her win.

I like her. I was sad to see Zeke go, and to see that Tai got any votes. I guess I still root for personalities I like.

I'm with you. I have a really hard time rooting for people I just don't like, regardless of what I think of their game play. Tai's in a pretty damn good spot if he can somehow avoid being blindsided and sent home with two idols in his pocket. I don't think his gameplay will earn him the win, but he's very likeable and you never know what aspects of the game the jury is going to value over the others.

I remember in the China season when James had two idols, the spot he was in was that he had three tribals left to survive where he could play an idol - so all he had to do was win one immunity and play an idol if he didn't. Naturally, he went home with both of them in his pocket on next tribal. What the actual fuck, James? I can see Tai making the same kind of mistake.

Enough of this sappyass family reunion crap. I have to tab away from it.

Spoiler alert!

Don't know what to make of that preview... it seems that some crazy stuff is coming.

Sarah looks like she's in a comfy spot.
Oddly enough, no one seems concerned about Michaela's anti-social behavior...
Cirie still gliding through while being friends with everyone... if she doesn't get voted out soon, she'll win this. It's a shame that she's not likely to ever win a challenge.
Andrea doesn't seem to be in a comfortable position, right now... I suppose she's going to sheep out for the next episode. I'd like her to stay on... at least for the eye candy.
Aubrey is also gliding through unnoticed... I could envisage a final three of Aubrey, Cirie and Michaela.

The guys... poor fellas.... always betting on the wrong horse. Tai and Brad can win a few challenges... but Brad will possibly be going home as soon as he looses one. Tai should start playing his idols... it's getting close.
The other guy, Troysand or however his name is spelled... he's gliding through... but always on the wrong side of the votes...

Anyway, there's still quite a bit of game ahead. 3 or 4 episode, right? We'll see what nonsense those starved folk do.
