Right? Why the fuck bring that up when you can just point out the rampant, systemic child abuse? I'm half-kidding because I like you, but there really is a serious amount of priests raping kids in your religion.
I'm sorry.

"People" wouldn't target children. Sub human scum would.

For the same reason you'd bring up Catholic pedophiles in a discussion of Islamic terrorism, I suppose.
I brought up Catholic pedophiles in a side discussion of the Crusades. Follow along.

I don't buy it. A suicide bombing that kills dozens of completely innocent people in a public place? Yeah. At least 90% chance radical islamists are behind it. And that's being generous.
I my defense (thou I was wrong)
Would I believe uber nationalists would copy Islamic states tactics to
1. Sow anti immigrant hatred
2. Because Islamic state has stolen there tactics from other groups
3. Because they have lost by legitimate means and now seek to win by violence
Well, they didn't.
There is a reason why when something like this happens, everyone automatically knows it's radical islam. Because the vast majority of the time, it is. Political correctness be damned in my opinion. No one here is saying Muslims are at fault. We are specifically talking about radical, extremist Muslims who think Allah wants them to kill everyone who is not them.

My thoughts exactly.
And for the record, the difference between an Islamic terrorist and a Catholic pedophile is that the terrorist is religiously motivated to commit those crimes. The priest who rapes kids is not motivated by his religion to do so.

Let's face it.
We can push blame on so many individuals and groups going back centuries and further.
Has the West interfered in the Middle East? Yes.
The crusades? There was also the Muslim invasions of Europe.
Where do we draw the line in trying to justify (wrong word, I know) the actions of these scum?
Do we go as far back as Alexander the Great? He did, after all, bring down the Persian Empire as a united entity.
War has been a constant in that regions for millennia. Many of them, and some of us, may blame Western interference in the region, but they've been killing each other for just as long, if not longer, than we've been interfering there.
We can play the blame game as much as we want. What we have to find, however, is a unified way of stopping it and curing the root cause.
As to pedos, while it is rampant in the Catholic church, and many of the leaders moved to protect those involved and cover it up, it is also rampant within many other religions and sects. Catholicism has a unified leadership that most of the world's Catholics look to. Most protestant sects do not recognise a central authority, apart from their divine friend, with each sect and group having it's own leadership. As such it's much harder to push blame on one group.
Not justifying what happens within the Catholic church, just pointing out that it's not ONLY the Catholic church where this shit happens.

Is this a decent news venue?

""
Mancunians turned their anger on the English Defence League when the far-right group held a display in the wake of last night’s deadly bombing.
Men carrying English flags clashed with police and protesters outside the Arndale Shopping Centre in the city, which was briefly evacuated on Tuesday morning.
But they were outnumbered by Mancunians who condemned their protest of the attack, which happened after an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena and killed 22 people, including ‘many’ children, Prime Minister Theresa May said.

And May has just won the election.

Depends on how you count motivation. Denying priests from ever having an open, normal sexual relationship with anyone, forcing them to go against human nature, could be construed as motivation.

The very specific, extreme, minority version of his religion (assuming it was radical Islam). Most Muslims are appalled by this, I am sure.

Just making the point of extremes the religious will go to. Why does the number of years ago matter? It's both done in the name of religion. 1000 years ago was your religions time, this appears to be theirs. I hope their time fades quickly.

That statement contradictory it can't be automatically known if it's only the majority of the time . And yes there are reason some people are insane.

Umm. no one brought that up so...

That depends on the here if you mean this forum .I'm not 100% convinced
