I have watched all the episodes of Cucumber except for the first three. Really enjoyed it, and suspect I really need to see the first 3.

There's one that springs to mind when a guy is slumped behind a locked door and to get to him, Brittas uses the chainsaw glued to his hand (it makes sense in context). He doesn't know that his last cut is at the guy's neck level...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Torchwood Survivors (reboot) Doctor Who Sherlock Primeval Being Human EDIT: Oh, yeah....forgot about Ab Fab, unti I re-read the OP. That show was funny as hell. RE: What is your favorite BBC show?

Like that one uncle who always does his only impression at family gatherings, no matter how much you try to stop him... Not for me... I've just started watching through the box sets again and I love it just as much now as I always have... I love how the dialogue works in it... I think it's perfectly crafted. And it's a story as well so it's very cliff-hangery I've never actually seen the Brittas Empire... but I guess I should do cos I love Chris Barrie... and Rimmer is my favourite character from Red Dwarf. Out of context it sounds super dark but taken together with the utter silliness of the show... it's too silly to really feel dark lol. ...The League of Gentlemen and Nighty Night... now they're super dark. Although I found the former entirely unfunny and the latter very watchable and mildly amusing at points... but nothing classic. Much more of a late eighties to mid nighties British comedy fan. But still... those shows are very dark.
But in all seriousness, Primeval is more of a guilty pleasure and although it has its really great moments, it suffers from a pretty terrible amd inconsistent myth ark.
Sherlock (the first batch) is THE BEST.

By first batch do you mean the first season? Because I agree, it was really good. The 2nd and 3rd were good, but the 4th...eeehh...
Dr. Who
Father Ted QI (on YouTube as others have noted) Torchwood And I really need to start watching Yes Minister. RE: What is your favorite BBC show?

Season 1+2. I don't much care for anything after that... Reichenbach Fall would have been the natural cutoff. Some of it's still good after that, but not close to the level of the first two seasons. Everything felt constructed and lacking interesting stories in lieu of ever more unbeliveable myth arc nonsense.
