I was going to skip working out today, but I am glad that I didn't. I'm feeling better for having gotten in a workout than being lazy.

I've had friends go through different things like this, I'd never turn my back on a friend simply because I disagree with their views. ''I really regret working out today,'' said no one ever. Glad you did it!
Much better than a few months ago. I recovered from having stents put in me due to surgery for kidney stones as well as degenerative disc disease flare up. I've resumed my exercise program so, pretty good.

Religious people are especially douchey, I've experienced it, when it comes to someone leaving the faith. I'm sorry that you have to go through that again.

It's funny, I've had mainly atheist friends in my life, all through my life, and for the most part, they've always had my back. I have had moments of wanting to return, mainly to a pagan spirituality, but in the end I always choose reason over fantasy. Whatever you decide, however, in the end I will be your friend.

There's a lot of interesting philosophies out there, where you can glean something beneficial perhaps from each. But, when you think about it, those ideas were all from other humans, helping out other humans to cope with the difficulties of life. The stranger ideologies are those that suggest for people to hurt others who don't believe, etc. But, again, those ideas are also...from humans. I'm not sad about my epiphany this week, that has made me incredibly happy. But, it's always a little saddening when people who claim to care about you, can't be happy for you, too. Always remember to do what is best for you and not what is best for them. Don't get me wrong, I try my darndest to get theists on here to see reason, but in the end I really just want them to admit that they truly don't need religion and that they merely choose to believe for the comfort it provides. But that is who I am, and you are who you are, and the great thing about life is that two people can love and support one another despite their differences. Religious people seem to have a problem understanding that, because in the end most of them just want everyone to believe as they do.
