I know the prediction is that she will marry Snow, given that their family is into incest and their brother/sister. However, you never know with this show. She could be power hungry enough to want to defeat Snow, but then there is Tyrion, who likes him. I'm also curious about Sansa. They've teased her both allying and hating Littlefinger. They've teased her both defying and allying with Snow. There's too much ambiguity.

She's his Aunt. (they covered this in Thronecast last night)

Yes, I know. I misspoke. I covered that in my post after it. Wink

What will the revelation that Jon is not in fact a Stark/Snow but a Stark/Targ do to his place in the North?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

At this point, isn't Bran the only one who could reveal that to him? I wonder if he thinks about the consequences before hand or just flat out tells him.

Still a Stark.
Just not the rightful heir, leaving the path open for Bran to mess everything up, because the other lords don't respect him (as much).... or Sansa, who would have to marry some other lord or son of a lord to get that respect (but, since it's 2017, she already has that respect, because she did bring the army of the Vale with her).

All in all... Jon gets demoted, but will still be some military leader and the people will follow him in to battle, while he mostly calls the shots with Bran to help guide him from the distance.

Just wait until Bran gets inside a Dragon! Season 8, episode 6.... I'm waiting for you!

I have no predictions, I was just thrilled to watch the episode! I don't care what anyone else says, Sam is a great character and I'm glad he's getting more air time. Nothing really shocking this episode, lots of things being set up. Also love the Hound and Dondarrion team! Arya with those baby boy soldiers was somehow very touching.

I am full of squee for the rest of this season!

Sam's poop-soup montage was the first montage of the whole series I believe.

Yeah, the poop-soup was an emotional roller-coaster.

Nothing, IMO. It won't suddenly erase his Stark loyalty and 20 years of being raised as a Stark. He'll want to continue what he's doing and, if others find out, I'm not so sure they'll care either.

Sure cut down on my snacking impulse.  Thank you, GoT.

Hey Aegon why were you put off by this Shireen (sp?) person playing a singing Lanister soldier? In the books there are frequent bits of song. Hearing him sing reminded me of this. Anyone else who didn't care for that care to explain?

Honestly one of my favourite episodes so far. Poop-soup montage was 10/10 addition, and having Ed Sheeran in it wasn't the worst, and that's coming from someone who has to listen to his songs which are on the radio every other song, whenever i'm at work. Whilst people say his scene was irrelevant, if you actually listen to the things they say, i think it points to the army being tired of the fighting, hence why that guy said he missed his wife and kid. Because with game of thrones, the small things really end up being the big things, like with the hound finding the father and daughter (The father being the one he punched (I think at least) a while back at that cottage).
