The theory of evolution HOAX
Information
RE: The theory of evolution HOAX
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/evidences.html

I have never had a creationist honest enough to read all of Theobald's essay, they normally come back claiming to have read it all within a matter of minutes and to have debunked it, without showing their work.

Evolution is a fact.

Nothing to do with my atheism however.

I don't know, you go for a brief holiday and this tired nonsense turns up on the doorstep

EDIT: to add correct link

I think it's been tried. He just says he's got a book written by someone who was there.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Well, Adam and Eve did eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, but they weren't there when He poofed the whole shooting match into existence, the humans were the last thing He thought of.

AND "Good and Evil" don't include writing, unless someone is failing third grade.

Actually, it's worse than that. When "he" put Adam together, this wise, all-knowing god with a plan for the Universe presumably made him complete with functioning genitalia - before inventing a place to stick it. In fact "he" demonstrates a total lack of knowledge of how humans and other animals reproduce, since "he" parades a load of them in front of incel Adam for him to choose one. It's only after Adam doesn't fancy any of them (clearly he would never survive Birmingham on a Saturday night) that the infinite creator of everything thinks it might be a good idea to make a matching set - not from the raw clay, but from spare parts.

Not only that.  The alleged "god" pronounced everything "good" and then a little while later is supposed to have wiped it out in a fucking flood.  You would have thought an all-knowing god would have seen that coming.  And taken steps to correct it.

Well, he did create an angel that totally betrayed and tried to usurp him, and then forgot to put up security around the garden to keep anything 'not' good out...it's a total setup. And he wants to blame us for his fuck-up. No god worthy of worship, that.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

---

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

That seems to be a common problem in all ancient religions.  As soon as the specific deity  gets things going he finds out that he screwed up and then goes on a killing spree.
