Just heard about this one. A Georgia cop tells a white woman he stopped that she can use her cellphone. He says “It’s in your lap right there,”. She replies that she does not want to move her hands, saying she has seen “way too many videos” about how the police behave at traffic stops.

“But you’re not black,” Lieutenant Abbott replies. “Remember, we only kill black people. Yeah. We only kill black people, right?"

They fired him. I guess it was a joke but then again maybe not.

Just fucking making shit up as they go. 

Not only do cops need better training, but they need to be vetted before they can join a police force.  I don't give a shit if my auto repair guy is half a bubble off, but a person who can take a life as part of their jobs better be one well adjusted person with their head on straight.

These police departments are releasing some bad hombres into society.  All you need most of the time is a two year degree which doesn't necessarily have to be law enforcement related, and then a 16 week police academy training program.
