That is not because the stage is rigged. It is because the producers are looking for the most animated people waiting in line outside. And I don't think if you watch the show every single day a military person always makes it on stage.

Even with late night shows like Cobert, blocks of tickets are given to orgs for PR. If military are making it on stage it can be a combo of PR or block giveaways.

I doubt if you watched that show all 5 days a week 52 weeks a year you would see a military person making it on stage every single day.

"Winning" on the Price is Right isn't automatically a good thing.

Among other problems, vacations and trips are not transferrable, if you can't go, no one goes and the prize is forfeited.

If you win a car, you have to pay tax and license before it will be released to you, if you've won a pricey car and didn't also win some money, you might have a problem.

If you win something you can't use, like a boat, you're responsible for the taxes on it (it's value is treated as income). If you win a $50,000 boat, and in your bracket the tax bump is $17,000, and you sell if for $15,000, 'winning' cost you $2000.

IIRC, if you're from out of state, getting your prize shipped home is your problem.

There's more, I can't remember it all. It's always best to win cash money on that show, but it sure is possible to win a big problem too.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Yea, I've known that for years. If you cant take it off the lot that day, they wont compensate you. That is what makes winning cash far better on the show.
