I've been seeing a lot of rep whoring threads around as of late... 'help get user x to y reps'... and it occurred to me, why not share the love all round... take rep whoring to the next level... a universal level? Hence this thread.

I'm quite forgetful about repping so there are probably a lot of people out there that I wanted to rep, but never got around to it, forgot, or it's never seemed like the right time to do it. Hopefully this thread will be a fun and useful catalyst to remedy that and not just for me but for others who feel similar.

A few ground rules:
1. To stop any one user hogging the thread and so that no-one feels obligated to return-rep, the "above" poster is not allowed to directly reply to and rep the "below" poster who repped them. Obviously they can still rep, but they just can't do it through the 'mechanic' of this thread... if they wanted to do it through the thread they'd have to wait until that poster came around again, after repping someone else.
2. Posts should state a reason for the rep... and that could well be just whatever is actually written in the rep comment.
3. Other, non-repping posts are also welcome in the thread... for commentary (ETA: or when people have already repped the person) etc but people should make it clear when they are taking part... perhaps by quoting the post of the user they're intending to rep.

As for me, me being the OP of this thread is entirely coincidental   So the first person who replies to this thread, rep me if you want to but if you don't, I'm cool with that too... I'm just happy to get the ball rolling

Off-topic (ie not rep-worthy): maybe it needs modifying the rules to include allowing posts when you've already repped someone? As per you two?
