When I used to work A&E many moons ago.
Had a teenager brought in with a compound fracture thrashing around whenever we tried to help him (understandable, really).
Got a tiny bone fragment through my gloves under my fingernail.

Did some insulating in my study (starting to feel warmer in here, so it's working), and went on an epic shopping trip. Came back with gourmet coffee, a stepladder, some building supplies, a string of Christmas lights, a library book I had reserved, and a litre of milk.
And I think I hear the stove timer beeping. Pulled pork is ready to nom!
