Meh I don't want a thousand reps, just put a code in so that everytime anyone sees a post of mine, just one rep gets added automatically to my profile and I'll be happy, and I bet these lazy fuckers would be happy too

I don't think this can be done on the thread pages. It might be possible to do on a user's profile, but to be honest it's not high on my list of priorities. If you're on a user's profile just click the "Rate" button and it will tell you if you've already rated them.

You don't think you could make it so you put a small icon by a user's name if you've given them a rep? I don't know code, but I would think it could be fairly easy.

The problem is getting the data. The reputations are stored in a separate table in the database. It might be possible to have a single query that gets the info I need but if not, I would have to do a single query for each post which is too much overhead.

Not to mention the fact that not everyone has repped everyone else so you'd actually have to write code to reflect that. I think it's just easier to click on the number of rep points to see if you've repped them or not.
