I see you can't comprehend situations very well, think on it instead of trying to give negative posts against my post. Just slow down and think, seriously.

I comprehend perfectly, you like to fantasize about your fantasy.

What's it like living in a world of make believe?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Yep, I spent 40 years in that brainwashed haze and memorized the whole craptastic book.

Then you wake up one day reading a part of it, and the only sane reaction is "wow that's stupid".  And you read another part and the only sane reaction is "wow that's positively evil".  And it just snowballs from there.  So GC, keep those rose-colored glasses welded to your head.  Because reading the Bible creates more atheists than anything else.

I very much doubt you memorized the entire Bible, if you had you would know God doesn't expect man to put on rose colored glasses, what He does expect is that we read and study the Bible so we can learn and pray when we do not understand certain things asking Him to give use a clear vision of what is written.

Reading the Bible doesn't create atheist, it is the hardened heart that denies what the Bible says and by your attitude it's very easy to see you have hardened you heart toward God. Why I do not know. I do not wear blinders I have questioned God about some things in the Bible and asked Him to show me what I was missing and generally that is exactly what happens.

GC

Yep, that the standard answer from every preechur.  An atheist claims to have been made to memorize Bible verses every day from the age of 5 until leaving for college.  The preechur immediately screeches that this person HAS to be lying.  And that they're reading it the wrong way.  "It works for MEEE!!!!  God talks to MEEEEE!!!!!"  Well sure, if that's your mindset, that's what you are going to believe.  And the idea that someone could have been completely immersed in the Bible for 40 years and then wake up is freaking threatening, isn't it?  There is something desperately WRONG with this person!!!!   (ha!)

Couldn't tell you because unlike atheist I do not live in the make believe time of millions to billions of years. No you do not comprehend or you wouldn't have given the answer you did in your last post.

I'm not a preacher. You said you had the entire Bible memorized and of coarse you read it wrong because you show you do not understand the scriptures. My mind set, why wouldn't it be, He promises those who ask out of a sincere heart. You mean you were 40 years old when you graduated from high school and you want me to believe you memorized the entire Bible. If it took you that long to get out of high school I would agree there's something desperately wrong.

How to view Jesus's parables?

Through the bottom of a glass after many previous drinks.

I guess for you  the world is  flat and everything has happened within 6 days and 6000 years. Talk about ability to maintain cognitive dissonance. Good for you fantasy boy.

Do you then puke in the glass after viewing to make it stop?

Slightly topic-tangential, but I've often wondered what those first two people were getting so excited about.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I graduated from high school at 17, like most people.  After that I earned a Bachelor's Degree, two Master's Degrees, and a Doctorate.  All during that time I was doing my own research on various subjects, including Comparative Religion.  Due to the biblical brainwashing I endured as a child, though, it took me until I was 40 to realize that it was all bullshit.  After your answer, I completely believe that YOU didn't graduate from high school until you were 40.  This explains most of your posts.

Not when one studies the whole Bible with the attitude to learn. The standard is to use the Bible to understand who God is and build a relationship with Him.

You have lost your mind. I do believe in the 7 day week God created and that in 6 of those days He created everything in the universe perfectly. As for the 6000 years I'm sightly flexible on those because we have no idea how long Adam and eve lived in the Garden of Eden, however after the fall I do believe in the 6000 year age.[/quote]

I wasn't good in English classes, mainly because of the poor teachers I had, I'm glad today's teachers are doing a better job. I want lay it all on the teachers though sports were more important than to properly construct a sentence. I do the best I can, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be enough to satisfy people here, my lack of proper sentence structure and spelling is why I do not criticize others for their mistakes and mostly ignore the criticism thrown my way. Congratulations on being so accomplished .
