Because, if it's the latter.... even I have had more than 3 this year... and we don't do any thanksgiving!
In hour home, mostly the latter, though the context is usually roast turkey, some green vegetable with butter, and stuffing or mashed potatoes and gravy. Sometimes both. It's kind of a smaller Thanksgiving meal.
I'll have some turkey breast fillets with that mash and some salad, please!

I like pilates. I took a class from our local community college when I was in high school from a gal who was like a first generation student of Joseph Pilates - she was a fantastic teacher and really knew how to move people's bodies to get the best results and to show improvement across the duration of the class.

Huber's or Gustav's?
Gustav's.

The perfect turkey dinner for me would be juicy, thick slices of turkey breast with some tasty gravy, roasted butternut squash, stuffing, roasted veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and brussel sprouts, with a nice, warm, buttery roll......

I wonder what "stuffing" is to you guys.
I've tried what they serve here in the UK and... they can keep it.
There must be some trick to get juicy think slices of turkey breast.... care to share?
And, if they're juicy, then gravy might be dispensed, no?

Pasta! it works well with pasta.... And everyone likes pasta!
I've had several kinds of mashed potatoes.... the best is when you actually mash the potatoes, of course!
Some, you buy frozen and then kind of cook it with milk... these also turn out alright, usually.
Then you have the flakes version.... yuck!
To top it off, you have my university's cantine version. Total inedible rubbish!

Brine the turkey, or purchase one pre-brined.
Forget about roasting it for a particular time interval per unit weight, use a probe thermometer to monitor the temperature of the thickest part of the breast.
Pull it from the oven when it hits 160F, cover with foil and rest for 30 minutes. I cover the foil with a towel to hold in heat. It will come up to ~170F in that 30 minutes.
IMO, any instructions that call for you to leave it in until 165F or higher or calls for less than a 30 minute rest should be ignored.

You might also consider deep frying it, if that sort of thing is to your taste. The trick is to have the oil at the right temperature when you submerge the bird.
If done right, you seal in the juices instantaneously.

hmmm... I think I'll stick with buying the fillets cut by a professional and then I cook them how I want.
Sure, that will only be enough for a meal or two... but I don't mind.

I don't like any of those. I've never had mashed potatoes that I like. It's majorly a texture thing with them, but I also am not a fan of buttery potatoes, I prefer them salty. Hmm, a baked potato sounds good tonight...
