Poor dog the renters have got fleas, and the first guy was just a flake...as was the second one; a third had to be called to make this happen today, and was 2 hours late, as a result. At least the place has been hosed down with Methyl Ethyl Death, so the dog can go outside in a few hours, and not have lesser beasties bite him.
I have a remedy. Takes a while, but it works and is very effective for a long time afterward.
Take a quart sized mason jar and fill it to the neck with olive oil. Take four fresh garlic cloves, peeled and crushed. Add to the oil. Put a lid on the jar and place in a cool, dark, dry place for three to four weeks to marinate.
When the time is up, take the jar, shake it slightly, open it and the oil should have a strong garlic smell. It's then ready to use. Let the garlic settle back to the bottom of the jar. Have the dog owner take two table spoons of the oil mixture and drizzle it over the dog's dry food.
Do this every day for two weeks. The dog's skin will start to develop a garlic scent. Fleas cannot stand garlic and will jump off the dog as a result. Humans won't smell it, but your problem will be resolved. And the dog gets a nice shiny coat as well.
We had a 200 pound Irish Wolfhound and it worked on him.

It takes a few nights to kick in, but once they do, your eyes will get heavy within 2 hrs.
You take them for a few months, every night and eventually your sleep patterns will return to normal.
They're a little bit pricey, though. :-)
Melatonin is readily available over the counter here in the US and isn't very expensive at all, LL. In fact, you can go to WalMart and get strawberry flavored chewables .

I got to leave. I got to go. I can't be here anymore. Nobody gives a fuck if I live or die. I haven't spoken a word to anyone for nearly a month. I almost don't remember what talking is. Nobody wants to know. Nobody cares. I haven't wanted my Sam more than I do now. I just want her so bad.
Forget it. Forget me.everyone else has.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Of course people give a fuck about you Stimbo, I certainly do I had a great time with you (and poca) when we met and I'd like to do it again sometime to put your social life in perspective, I'm currently in a gay pub in London staring at rainbow flags and listening to corny music like 'girls just wanna have fun'... I can't hear myself think let alone talk. Anyway it's the start of my night so I'm not pissed yet but this is the first time I've got out in about two years... so my social life is and has never been great but that's fine with me; I'm with old friends and though we don't see each other for years at a time it's always just like old times when we do... that's the best kind of friendship I think... anyway you've got a friend like that in me going forward anyway the management just came up and (jokingly) said the price of using a mobiles was to dance so had to request a song... so I just got dragged up to dance to Lady gaga's born this way... so remember what I've had to go through to give you this pep talk... I certainly will Love you Stimbo as do many here so I hope you don't forget that, and hope you feel better soon

Still have to have my knee elevated. The MRI I have to get will show whether or not I have a torn Meniscus.
Cheer up Stimbo - things could be worse. The fact that you have people here that care about you, speaks mounds. Even if you don't think so. Just remember, this too shall pass.
