I think it only requires leaders to give a shit. The common folk rarely march to war eagerly, unless a charismatic leader convinces them to. Or you know, they need the money.

Everybody in the world has an interest or two in the Middle East. The same thing we saw in Syria; out of a sudden we began to see global proxies and a never ending civil war.

It's always the ignorant nomad wanting to join the rich kids in the park next door; just to find out after killing most of his people, that he was being manipulated and played with by the rich kids.

When the rich kids fight though on how the ignorant nomad should be used; conflict between them happen.

Rich kids are super powers. The poor kid is Arab/Muslim leaders.
All are bad, all deserve their share of the muddy trench.
