Ausin has a large enough expat Brit community that one of the UK supermarket chains has an outlet here. Real estate prices are high in the city, but not so high as NY or San Francisco. Outside the side, they fall, and the cost-of-living is fairly reasonable. Jobs in the tech and retail sectors are plentiful.

You've always been a huge asshole to me but I do genuinely hope you find whatever you're looking for. My only suggestion to you is to improve your mind and make it more positive, Buddha said that "The mind is everything. What you think, you become.", if your mind is negative be it for whatever reason you as a whole person will turn negative. CM is fighting severe illness and her positivity is inspiring, I just know from her positivity that she is an overall good person, she should be a role model for many of us. You won't find peace no matter how much you go running behind it unless and until you find it within yourself, so I would suggest you to try to find inner peace but this is your journey, not mine, you have to go through this your way. I wish good luck to you. Stay positive.

Er, welcome!  Gee, I've been wishing that I could move to England (land of my ancestors) because the US of A is such a looney bin.
You may want sunshine and warm weather but avoid most of the southern states.  (New Mexico and Arizona are ok, or so I've heard.)
Avoid the middle of the country, particularly Tennessee and Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  Chicago is cool and so is Denver.  Las Vegas?
Stick with the coasts.  That way you won't be surrounded by Bible-Thumping Loonies.

(I live in Missouri.  It's north, but it's still Bible Belt.)

If I could live anywhere, the US would be far down on my list at the moment. I'd rather live somewhere in the European Union. I lived in the UK for 2 years back in the 90s and when I came back to the US, I had culture shock. We share a common language but not much else.

Good luck!

I second this. Ohio suck Ass. Go to the Carolinas.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
