You cant accuse rape victims of victim blaming and not expect to get backlash.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

That only works if the person receiving the backlash actually learns a lesson and has remorse. I don't see that happening here.

But that is indeed what a few of them did.
And you as well.
You should understand I don't place the same value in being liked, as you do CL. I have no interest in "going along to get along" if it means going along with the reprehensible. So while receiving "backlash" from folks who would engage in and defend such damaging, hurtful rhetoric is expected, it's of no distress to me.
Victims and potential victims who might have actually taken your thoughtless words to heart take absolute precedence over you and your friends' indignation at being called out for what you clearly did.
I post what I post with those folks in mind, not in hopes of gaining/regaining your little posse's approval.
Thanks for the warning/Do not care.

Lol, funny that I'm being accused of "going along to get along" here when I'm a theist on an atheist forum and have 0 problem disagreeing with people here over sensitive issues, which I do on an almost daily basis here. This just isn't one of them.
Anyway, I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore.

Has anyone here seen the new documentary, 'The Red Pill'?
It's an expose film about the Men's Rights Group produced and directed and narrated by a woman and a feminist.
I didn't even know that there was a Mens Rights group, but it's DEFINITELY worth a watch if you have a couple of hours.
It really opened up my eyes to some things I had never considered about myself and the way I view men in general.

No, not really. I said IF it were true, than it would appear that violated her.
Actually, most of the folks generally accepted the details of the story to be true, but dismissed it as "bad sex" because she didn't say NO the "right way" and she didn't leave in after he violated her.
Quote:The purpose of forums is to discuss things. If you can't see that this is a discussion, then you are beyond help and I don't need to waste any more of my time with you.
I've been doing that. You haven't been called a bitch, been told to shut up, fuck off, or received any profanity-laced responses from me in this thread. Nor has anyone else.
Would you believe that you're actually the one who's been ranting, and raging, Joods? Don't believe it?
Go re-read your responses to ME with a modicum of objectivity.
Then ask yourself who really needs help.
Quote:Now if you could grow the fuck up and stop the name calling, that'd be great.
I suppose noting and discussing your victim-blaming counts as being calling a victim-blamer, if you want to get technical.
It's really is more of an observation of your actions than it simple name-calling, though.
