You're conflating two different translations there buddy.
In case you didn't know the Old Testament was originally in Hebrew while the New Testament was originally in Greek.
The Hebrew word for serpent has a completely different origin / meaning than the Greek word.
If I wasn't posting from my phone I'd include recipts.
Lesson over.
Dragons in any language are still dragons. Magic book has dragons popping out of the demonhole, apparently..so take it up with magic book..not me, or words. You think dragon-men were coming here, stealing our women and our jobs, causing crime and raping and murdering people, etc. You'll have to take that one up with yourself.

At all.Like I said I'm posting from my phone so I'm not able to post up quotes like I want. But simply put, the word for serpent in Hebrew is Nachash which means "shining one" The Greek word is ophin which means "snake", however the origin of the word is Ophion, from Greek mythology. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophion Quote:Robert Graves in his book The Greek Myths imaginatively reconstructs a Pelasgian creation myth involving Ophion as a serpent created by a supreme goddess called Eurynome dancing on the waves. She is fertilized by the serpent and in the form of a dove lays an egg on the waters about which Ophion entwines until it hatches and the world issues forth. Then Ophion and Eurynome dwell on Mt. Olympus until Ophion boasts that he made the world alone. Eurynome, as punishment, kicked out his teeth and banished him to the underworld. From Ophion's teeth sprang Pelasgus who taught man all the arts and crafts. Interesting
If you say so.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Only if you're suggesting that the hebrew and christian mythical narratives are somehow derivative of or related to......greek myth.
Is that what you're suggesting, Hugs? Well knock me over with a feather! Meanwhile, a talking snake with arms and legs is a dragon in any language, lol. If you're telling me that the dragon in rev isn;t the same dragon as the one in genesis...then you;re just adding another dragon..so now there are three instead of two. Like I said, dragons popping out the demonhole.

First provide a link to anywhere I stated anything about a talking snake with arms and legs, if you can't then you are deliberately misrepresenting my position which is basically trolling. Let's see if the mods feel the need to address THAT. RE: The Trinity Doctrine: Help me out, Christians

What was the serpent then, genetically and biologically speaking?Biologically he was close enough to the human species to be able to sexually reproduce with Eve, you guys accuse me of making that up but that is according to Jewish tradition, furthermore there in no mention of Cain in the genealogy of Adam. This is just as good as I remembered, lol. You should write sci-fi fan fiction. Quote:The same way he "appeared" the universe, by speaking. So, Magic. Got it. More like you refuse to accept even the remotest possibility of abiogenesis, despite believing without question that a hybrid human-serpent creature reproduced with a human woman who was poofed into existence from a rib bone. Please, go on.
