Lamb is running to the right on guns and he's supposedly pro life. He also supports Trump's tariffs. If the Dems are going to have any chance of winning back the rust belt and Coal States they need to run more moderate candidates like Lamb and Manchin. There's only better than 500+ votes separating the two now and absentee votes haven't been counted yet, either. A few other districts haven't been counted yet and not may be until tomorrow, I heard.

Absentee ballots yet to be counted. Some of those will be counted in the next few minutes and some won't be counted until tomorrow morning. Anyway, this district may not even exist come November.

Oh, I agree, but on the issues that matter most to Democrats (healthcare, taxes, etc.), Lamb will be supportive of the party that brought him into office. As for a recount, under Pennsylvania law, anything less than 0.5% is an automatic recount. The problem with candidates like Lamb is that he is every bit as bad as the fucker he ran against. If the absentee count goes the right way the only good thing to come out of it will be to wipe that fucking smirk off of the Orange Turd's fucking ugly face.
Lamb is scoring ~20% higher than Hillary did. Victory of sorts whether or not he actually pics up the seat. That Trumply is essentially down 20% since 2016 election is heartening.
IMO, nothing wrong against running against Pelosi either. She's attracting dissent from her right and her left. Well past time to let someone else run the show. Another instance of a pol not recognizing high polling negatives and causing way more collateral damage than could ever be warranted or justified. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
In spite of the ongoing disaster that is the Trump / Republican party, if Lamb wins it will be by only a handful of votes. Nearly half the voters in this country are still happily pushing for the USA to gain shit hole status in the world. That is hardly something to cheer about. When Republicans start going down in double digit losses to real progressive candidates (assuming Democrats actually become a functioning progressive party) or millions of us start taking to the streets, storming offices and tossing servants of the ruling class (and maybe some of the ruling class themselves) out on the street...then, maybe, one can hope for some future.
Until then the downward trajectory to becoming a failed state continues. If we're on our way to becoming a failed state, that means we're currently a successful state. If progressive action is still needed, that means such progress hasn't yet happened. So, we became successful by not being progressive. Yeah, I don't think I want to be part of your state, nation, world.
